I’ll be heading off to Galway on Saturday morning to shoot and then edit the first Nationwide programme 2012.
Just finished the edit on a co-produced programme with RTEÂ Â featuring the architecture, fashion and food of Georgian Dublin. This photograph was taken inside 10 Ormond Quay Lower, which is where we filmed.
I’ve been shooting a set of Presenter Links around Lough Swilly in Donegal for Nationwide on RTE 1 Wednesday. Very windy & cold. Not ideal, but the show must go on!
Filming at the Irish Cross Country Championships for RTE Sport. The winners of the event will go on to represent Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships in Slovenia on 11th December. Best of luck to them all.

Away filming at the Northwest Craft Fest in Sligo today. The results will be seen on RTE 1 on the 18th November. (Image: http://www.facebook.com/CraftfestNorthwest)
On the road today. Left home at 5.30am to drive to the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, where I’m shooting a special programme for RTE. Weather closed in quite a bit during the day it was windy and misty. Could have been worse. We’re also editing the programme which will be transmitted on Wednesday, so it’s straight back home tonight to begin editing. Quick turnaround! (Image: http://allirelandtravel.blogspot.com)
Shooting VT inserts for the RTE Winning Streak programme. We’re at the European Surfing Championships in Bundoran, Co.Donegal. Great waves and surfing, all being shot hand held, as is Gary Agnew, the Directors style. (Image: http://eurosurfbundoran.com/)
I’ve been asked to go to Ethiopia in January to make a film with the Irish Charity – ‘Playing for Life’. Lots of arrangements to follow, but it looks like we’ll be spending about 12 days in various parts of the Country. Thinking already of what kit to bring….and what to leave behind.
Shooting a series of links in Burtonport & Derry for RTE’s Nationwide programme, with Mary Kennedy. Very stormy in Burtonport, but we managed to find a sheltered spot. Then onto Derry, my first time filming on the Peace Bridge. (Image: http://sluggerotoole.com)
